`So, you have thought long and hard and arrived at the moment when it’s the right property and you've considered the budget to purchase your dream handmade kitchen. You have been sifting through magazines, talking to friends and family and picking up ideas off the internet. You have a reasonable idea of what you'd like though maybe you're not quite sure not sure how to move forward or want some friendly advice! Drew Forsyth & Co can help. By offering a no-obligation consultation with our team of designers, who have over 38 years of experience between them. We are long term dedicated employees with practical knowledge and enthusiasm to help turn your ideas into reality.

We revel in taking up the next challenge guiding you through all the choices available. Breaking your project down into manageable sections, actively building creative design solutions, and visually showing what’s possible within your budget and time frame.

As a family-run company, we very much work as a team, with overlapping roles and responsibilities, and always with one goal, to deliver you, a well-designed, considered kitchen, which meets your lifestyle and aspirations.

So, what next, well a good starting point is to pop down to our showroom in Hebden Bridge, meet up with one of our designers over a cup of coffee (or tea! or a glass of bubbly!!) and discuss your ideas. We want to give you our full attention. We always advise ringing through before visiting the showroom on 01422 842206 just to make sure we have a designer ready to discuss your project straight away. The showroom can get quite busy on Saturdays, morning is always a good time! Here's how you can contact us.

We have taken great pride in providing a new extension to our showroom presenting innovative, pioneering appliances. With a new stylish material and design samples area, showing all the latest choices available. We also have our new flagship working display which is both practical and offers striking good looks. Hopefully, buoyant and energised by your visit you will leave excited, with the knowledge you are taking your project to the next level.

Alternatively, one of the best ways we can help you plan your kitchen is for our committed designer to come and view the space the kitchen is going to be located in. At this stage, you may be just working off architects-plans this isn't a problem. It takes about an hour to measure up and discuss more details on site. You never know this may also be an opportunity to see things you may not have thought about!

It is a design process but we know budget is a major factor for everyone as well! As we are all individuals, so are our projects! Small, big, fully refurbished and modernized, conversion, full house project, single room replacements, each has a budget to take into account. This can often mean one part of your project has an influence over another. We can help you breakdown the budget into what is required so you know where the overall cost would be.

When planning your project we recognise and appreciate that other costs, not just your kitchen, have to be taken into account, building work, etc. As a design-led company, we aim to get the best kitchen design possible for your project, a considered realistic budget should be ideally discussed with your designer early in the planning process, so we can plan an aspirational kitchen which is also on budget. This initial budget does not have to be to the penny but a loose guide helps us to help you.

Quality product! So you have been working closely with our team, which may have been over a number of meetings, and cups of coffee! (Tea)What’s next? All our furniture is individually made at our factory in Mytholmroyd. The showroom is only the tip of our iceberg, as our factory covers a 16,000 square foot area over two floors. A dedicated team of over 28 staff will now be poised ready to manufacture and process your handmade kitchen to our exacting standards which have been developed over the last fifty years. We use the latest technology taking digital design files from the showroom, which are then translated into production drawings, cutting lists, and CNC operation codes! All with exacting tolerances helping to provide you with a kitchen that will last with care, over twenty years and more. Again please feel free to ask your designer if you would like a factory tour, we are proud to show off the quality of the work we produce, we think you will be impressed!

Time and expectations! Deposit paid, and you are up and running. Like any company we have busy periods, holidays, etc. but in general the lead time is six to eight weeks to manufacture your kitchen from the point you have agreed on the design. We then aim to give you a fitting date close to the end of the manufacturing period. Normally allow a three-week window for installation from the point we start to install your kitchen. At this stage it's a good idea to nominate a project manager; it maybe you, the builder, or site manager, just so we have a point of contact that can make installation decisions and access arrangements.

We thank you for taking the time to read this information so far and please do not hesitate to contact us if you have specific questions that need an answer.
